NPOG & NSA
Welcome to Espoo 28–30 August 2025

Dear friends and colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to NPOG-NSA 2025 in Finland. The meeting will take place at the distinctive Cultural Center Hanaholmen, located near Helsinki city center. As a hub for cultural interchange between Finland and other Nordic countries, Hanaholmen offers a unique setting that we hope will inspire meaningful discussions and idea-sharing among Nordic colleagues.

The first part of the meeting, organized by the Nordic Pediatric Ophthalmology Group (NPOG), will delve into current topics in pediatric ophthalmology. Key themes will include disorders of the anterior segment, childhood uveitis, and the progression of myopia. The second part, hosted by the Nordic Strabismological Association (NSA), will focus on strabismology, with discussions on strabismus in orbital diseases, intermittent exotropia, and novel perspectives on the treatment of strabismus. In addition to these sessions, there will be opportunities for free paper submissions, case presentations, and a poster exhibition. We warmly encourage you to submit an abstract of your work or share an intriguing patient case.

We are looking forward to meeting you and other Nordic friends in Hanaholmen!

On behalf of the organizing committee,

Anna Majander (NPOG) and Elina Karvonen (NSA)
